Shimano Low Viscosity (LV) Mineral Oil (SM-LVOIL) is a specialized hydraulic fluid engineered for modern high-end Shimano disc brakes (such as XTR M9100/M9120 and XT M8200/M8220 series). It delivers a consistent lever feel and reliable bite point, particularly in cold weather and demanding trail conditions.

⚠️ Critical Compatibility Notice:

• Do not mix Low Viscosity Mineral Oil with standard Shimano mineral oil.
• Do not use it in older Shimano brake systems that specify standard mineral oil. Using the wrong fluid can cause brake failure or damage the internal seals.
