Brompton Superlight Direct Mount Chainring is for use with the Brompton Superlight crank sets that are used on Brompton T Line Bikes.
This chainring in not compatible with A, C and P Line Brompton bikes (unless fitted with a superlight crankset)
The 56T Chainring is supplied with the V2 Chain catcher*
The pack consists of:
* The V2 Chain Catcher is fitted as standard to all bikes made after July 2023 and is available aftermarket if you want to fit a 56t chainring to your bike. This small component keeps the chain in place over bumps and potholes in the road.
NB: Only bikes with 4 speed gearing systems need a chain cather.
** The pack may come with fitting diagram for V1 chain catcher. The video below shows how to install V2 chain catcher:
