PL250 Light

MOTOR :
250W Nominal 450W Peak
Weight: 7,7 lb / 3.5 kg

The latest addition to the BionX family weighs just over 5 kg (12 lbs), but provides basically the same amount of power as the good, old, but much heavier P250, and just marginally less riding range. This is a system of choice for all applications where the weight and the size are critical.  PL250 Light is a definite proof that smaller can some times be much, much better.

BATTERY:
LiMn 22V 6.4 AHr (142 WHr)
Weight: 4.2 lb / 1.9 kg

PL250

MOTOR :
250W Nominal 450W Peak
Weight: 7,7 lb / 3.5 kg

PL250 'regular' is still very light system having the total weight just over 6 kg (14 lbs). The system will provide 30% longer autonomy and up to 20% better performance than the benchmark P250 system.  This model will appeal to cyclists who are looking for longer rides and for whom weight is crucial. An outstanding technological step intended for those who really love to ride.

LiMn 26V 9.6 AHr (250 WHr)

PL350

MOTOR :
350W Nominal 600W Peak
Weight: 9.14 lb / 4.15 kg

Still more powerful, and lighter than ever. With its brushless and maintenance free 350W motor weighing only 4.15 kg and its new hi-tech 3.8 kg 37V Lithium-Manganese battery, BionX was able to create the ideal system. At the weight that is less than the P-250, this model offers a much more powerful motor along with a Lithium battery containing near twice the amount of energy contained in the 24V NiMH battery. This system will please long distance riders as much as less experienced cyclists looking for a light system

Price:     $1,695.-__

BATTERY:
LiMn 37V 9.6AHr (355 WHr)
Weight: 8,36 lb / 3.8 kg

PL500

MOTOR :
500W Nominal 750W Peak
Weight: 9.14 lb / 4.15 kg

The most powerful BionX system is particularly intended for small wheel (20" and smaller) applications where it delivers its best: high torque and high speed.  It is not recommended for larger wheels -- 26", and 700c particularly because of the lower torque, and the ability to deliver top speeds above legal limits in many jurisdictions. This is an excellent choice for 20" wheel folding and mini bicycles.

The BionX (formerly known as Smart-E System by EPS) is definitely the most advanced and simply the best electric bike conversion kit today!  We were claiming this after our first tests, and now we are even more convinced.  Today we are well in the third year of using, selling, and supporting this Excellent Electric Bike conversion system, and we stay by our words.  As a dealer we like the BionX kit because we are getting the least issues or complaints from our customers.  As users, we love it!  Please see our full review.

The BionX managed to get the right balance and to offer a bike conversion kit that will keep the feel and the look of your original bike, but giving you the power to climb hills and fight winds with ease.  This electric bicycle kit comes with the high tech console that mounts on the handle bar.  The console offers many useful functions and information, while still remain very easy and simple to operate.

The BionX System offers four levels of assistance and also four levels of generation - the motor works as a generator and charges the battery.

The generative mode can be invoked explicitly by selecting one of 4 generative levels, or by applying a rear brake. An easy to install brake sensor reacts on a slight touch of a brake lever, giving an 'engine braking feature', saving brake pads, and extended the riding range.

This generative mode offers another good use for the converted bike:
Just put the rear wheel on a stand and you got a perfect indoor exercise bike!
(with 4 exercise levels!)
