Most electric bikes are built like tanks: heavy and cumbersome. With the Boost, Dahon's objective was to design an electric bike with all of the portable convenience that their folding bikes are known for. We’re happy to say that after two years of hard work, and with the help of some Japanese motor and battery engineers, they succeeded. The Boost folds to the same dimensions as Dahon's best in class 20” wheel folders and weighs only 19.6 kg, making it one of the lightest, most compact electric bikes on the market. The smooth power will leave you laughing with delight as you sail up hills and pedal easily into ferocious head winds.
